The four holiday cottages were architecturally designed and built in 2000. The cottages have been built on the site of the former Boll farm steading. The original farmhouse has been completely renovated and forms the owners' home. |

Although it is no longer a farm, the Boll is in the fortunate position of being surrounded by beautiful scenery and historic buildings. It has the local Ochil Hills to the north which run east and west, and enjoys clear views of Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument. Alva itself is ideally placed geographically. The Highlands, Loch Lomond, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, The Trossachs, Glasgow and Dunfermline are all less than one hour away by road. The nearest town is historic Stirling, 15 minutes away by car. Motorway connections are within 8 miles. |

All of the cottages are tastefully decorated and furnished to the same high quality and come fully equipped with all the necessary implements, appliances and utensils to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. It is worth noting that the courtyard and ground floor accommodation is all at the same level which is particularly important to anyone with impaired mobility. All rooms are nicely decorated, have laminated flooring, double glazing with gas central heating. The main lounge seating is leather. The cottages are contained within a cobbled courtyard.
